Lindal Double Piston Can vs Aerosol
Conventional aerosol can technology suspends fine solid or liquid particles of consumable and other ingredients in a flammable, often poisonous gas, and expels them through a traditional spray nozzle in a diminishing pressurized stream - until the can is empty; not necessarily of ingredients, but of propellant.
The Lindal Double Piston Can facilitates the aerosol-free and propellant-free, uniform and continuous spray of just about any viscous product, ranging from water to heavy creams and oils. It relies on physics and risk-neutral compressed air to propel ingredients in a uniform stream or mist until the can is empty of ingredients.
The Lindal Double Piston Can does not require
butane or other incendiary gasses to propel contents. Remarkably,
all aerosol non-stick cooking oil particulate is suspended in some
form of flammable gas, and the aerosol cans themselves post graphic
warnings about the explosive nature of the product.
Common food product propellants include butane, carbon dioxide,
nitrogen, nitrous oxide, isobutane, propane and
octafluorocyclobutane. Until now, the only alternative to flammable
propellants for cooking oils and liquids, was the manual pump or
spray bottle.
Acute symptoms of conventional aerosol exposure include headache, nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath, throat irritation, asthma and skin rash. A misdirected aerosol spray can cause eye injury, blindness or chemical burn. Upon contact with skin or eye tissue, aerosol evaporates and the effect is a simultaneous freezing. Repeated inhalation of aerosols can result in addiction, causing intoxication, damaged vision, slurred speech, diminished mental capacity, even death. The Lindal Double Piston Can poses no such health or environmental threats or risk of injury.

How it Works
The Lindal Double Piston Can system consists of two components - an aluminum can and an actuator sprayer.
The aluminum can provides the required light and moisture proof environment for contents.
Inside the can, a patented double piston maintains separation between the risk-neutral dead air and the contents. A non-toxic sealing gel situated between the two pistons offers 100% bacteria-proof content protection.
The actuator sprayer is equipped with the patented LINDAL cross-mould insert - the only device on the market able to atomize 100% pure oil without any additives. All component materials are FDA approved.
